With a focus on delivering the highest quality brands to consumers, Uganda’s biggest brewer has made Club Pilsener refreshingly authentic through its long and well-crafted brewing process. “The Club Brand is 100% natural, there is no sugar in it & most importantly, it is brewed longer. Great things come to those that wait, for anything good to be produced it has to take time. An average beer in the market takes 2 weeks to brew but in the case of Club Pilsener, we take 3 weeks, that’s why it’s perfect and refreshing,” said Adu Rando, NBL Managing Director.
He also revealed that in 2022, the Club brand had the biggest growth of volume of any beer brand in Uganda versus the previous year. He thanked and congratulated the Club Team for the wonderful result during the launch of the 2023 Club Pilsener Thematic campaign at the company head office in Luzira last week. The main focus of the campaign is on the intrinsic aspect of an authentic brewing process and the extrinsic aspect of an authentic relationship with consumers in all interactions.
“Today, Club is launching the ‘brewed longer, refreshingly club’ campaign to tell the story of why Club is the most refreshing beer on the market; because of the brewing process it goes through,” said Joel Galla, Club Brand Manager “We take our time to be able to get the ultimate taste. Other beers take 2 weeks – we take more days and slow down the process to ensure that we deliver the beer with a refreshing taste. We deliberately extend the brewing process to 18 -21 days to ensure that the final consumer is able to appreciate that Club is easy to drink,” he added.
A number of dignitaries, artists, Djs, media personalities and Influencers were among the people that attended the launch. What stood out was a Club Pilsener-tailored quiz session that involved three groups of 5 formed from within the guests; the winning team got Shs1.5M, the 1st runners-up won Shs1M and the second runners-up won Shs500,000. Performances from A Pass, Eddie Wizzy, and Crysto Panda crowned the evening. The invited guests no doubt got a sense of Club Pilsener’s authentic relationship with its consumers in every interaction as a brand. Under this campaign, there will be Club Pilsener hour activations in bars, bufundas or shops and there will be lots of merchandise to be won.
