Bar storms were carried out over 16 bars in the Kampala Region. The team of girls who chanted the “No Excuse” song to patrons were surprisingly well-received by the patrons both male and female. The women were eager to pull the #NoExcuse team to the side and ask them for more details and happily fill in the survey. The bar storms took place between 9pm to midnight. We did not exceed the 3 hours since the patrons were bound to get rowdy. Most men felt they had been ignored since they too get sexually harassed by women. Red cards were happily handed out and the patrons happily took photos holding them.
